Sure Signs of Spring!

Hello all! Well, there are sure signs of Spring in the air. The snow (out here in the Northwest Burbs) is finally melting! The migrating birds are starting to appear. It's just a matter of time now. The sun will shine and new life will return to the Chicago area!

Being Scottish, I had to post this. If you're not doing anything this afternoon and have some free time and are interested in Scottish Culture - there is an event at the Oak Park Arms today. "Exploring Scottish Themed Compositions". It begins at 1:00 p.m. and explores music with the lively Alfred Scheopco who will lead in discussing Mendelssohn's Scottish Fantasy and Bruck's Scottish Fantasy.

You can view the details at OAK PARK AREA CONVENTION & VISITOR'S BUREAU

If you happen to be out and about this weekend, even though there is a chance of snow on Saturday, be sure to stop in and warm up at Unique Freaque!.

Mother's Day is around the corner as well as Easter. Why not SPRING for a Unique Gift! You will make the recipient EGG-Static!

THINK SPRING and have a wonderful day! SEE YOU SOON!
